My challenger was stalling out on me and would just crank. Found out the crank position sensor failed and installed a new one with a camshaft position sensor. I swapped out multiple sensors thinking I was just getting defective sensors. The dinky scanner I had was only uni-directional so it wasn’t giving me much. I wasn’t getting a single code. The day I was ready to give up and have the car towed to a mechanic, I saw this scanner and decided to order it to give it a shot. I LOVE THIS THING. Gives me everything I need to diagnose problems. I was able to deep dive into the PCM, bypass the ASD to start the car again, run it to temperature, do a cam crank sensor relearn, reset the PCM, and boom she runs better than before. Smoother ride and she shifts beautifully. I was able to run live data while I drove the car so I could monitor it. I was also able to record the data in real time in case an issue arose. Easy to use app if you know what you’re doing. I was even able to run actuation checks on every relay to check each one for faults.
