I don't know about the durability, as I've only had them for a short time, but I can't see anything that could cause a problem. One big plus over buying this product at a local office supply store is that they come in plastic bags. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but the clipboards at Staples are put in individual bags before the metal part is riveted on. You have to trim the plastic away from the clip. What a pain in the butt!!

What is there not to like? These are a great value and they are a great clipboard. I don't know about the durability, as I've only had them for a short time, but I can't see anything that could cause a problem.
