Having fun with it Review: It's a great detector when you're just trying to 'test the waters' - It's a great detector when you're just trying to 'test the waters', as it were, with regards to the whole metal detecting hobby. It's sensitive enough for deep pulls (when dialed in correctly) and plenty of bubble gum wrappers. It's light enough. One of the above comments said it takes 8 AA batteries but mine only takes 1 9V battery. Guessing the models vary a bit. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B072FK9DNL | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Batteries Required? | No | | Brand | Qwest | | Brand Name | Qwest | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 6 Reviews | | Item Weight | 3 Pounds | | Manufacturer Part Number | CRS900513 | | UPC | 764475458222 794348909223 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Qwest - **Batteries Required?:** No - **Item Weight:** 3 Pounds - **UPC:** 764475458222 794348909223 ## Images ![Qwest LED 50" Metal Detector Kit w/Shovel Scoop Treasure Hunter Waterproof Coil, Lightweight Waterproof Coil Sensitive Search Gold Digger Hunter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41wKTm4LWbL.jpg) ![Qwest LED 50" Metal Detector Kit w/Shovel Scoop Treasure Hunter Waterproof Coil, Lightweight Waterproof Coil Sensitive Search Gold Digger Hunter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CiooGUYyL.jpg) ![Qwest LED 50" Metal Detector Kit w/Shovel Scoop Treasure Hunter Waterproof Coil, Lightweight Waterproof Coil Sensitive Search Gold Digger Hunter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/410vpTg9KgL.jpg) ![Qwest LED 50" Metal Detector Kit w/Shovel Scoop Treasure Hunter Waterproof Coil, Lightweight Waterproof Coil Sensitive Search Gold Digger Hunter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/4140C5dDgvL.jpg) ![Qwest LED 50" Metal Detector Kit w/Shovel Scoop Treasure Hunter Waterproof Coil, Lightweight Waterproof Coil Sensitive Search Gold Digger Hunter - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51vf5JvIVrL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great needs a 9volt battery *by M***P on January 26, 2018* Works great needs a 9volt battery. The sound does not stay until you move away from it like you would think it would! Also the metal discrimination switching from Iron to non-ferrous Metals is a joke , makes the same stupid beep whether you're over copper or iron does it make any difference. I bought it to find manhole covers and curb stop shut offs under the snow. You could hold it right over a huge steel manhole and it will just go beep once. It will also go beep once if you hold it over a penny there's no intensity in the sound which makes it completely useless. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/44080412-qwest-led-50-metal-detector-kit-w-shovel-scoop-treasure](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/44080412-qwest-led-50-metal-detector-kit-w-shovel-scoop-treasure) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
