## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the dimensions of the seat opening/hole?**
A: Just received the elongated model yesterday, measured the eggshaped opening it is only 10 x 8 inches not 11x8 inches as others state. (To compare: the existing normal toilet seat is 11.3/4 inches). So this one is very small, for kids and smaller women fine, but for a 5'11'', 175 pound adult a more or less fun exercise to hit the target area. I unfortunately sent it back.

**Q: Is the seat white and matches the toilet? in photos it looks like the plastic is a little blue tint**
A: In reality it does have a blue/lavender tint. It was enough of a difference that I returned my order. If you are concerned with an exact match, this is not the best one to order.

**Q: What's the dimension of the seat？**
A: 19.8 x 14 2 x 2.4

**Q: Santa Rosa compatible?**
A: Yes it is compatible with the Kohler Santa Rosa

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow, first time user and I’ll never go back to the old way.
*by J***A on December 15, 2019*

Wow, where to begin. I’ve been interested in getting a bidet seat for quite some time now.I know that this kind of wash technology is very common outside the United States but of course being in the United States I had never experienced one myself. But I started to suspect that maybe, in this case, the rest of the world was right. I was really frustrated with the amount of toilet paper we were always using and the overall time it took to cleanup. This model is cheap enough we’re really there isn’t terribly too much risk if you just hate it. In my case we have predominately elongated bowl toilets in the residence so this would fit just fine.Installing the diverter and a new hose was the worst part of the job for me. Even though our setup is relatively new, our toilets are incredibly close to the shut off valves. This meant that I really needed something between a 6 and a 9 inch hose and still had to wrestle and put the hose under tension that I’m not thrilled with. The diverter that comes with the kit is not inspiring. While doing research, I had chosen to use a third-party variable valve diverter instead of the included diverter. This proved to be a very very important decision that I don’t regret. But I’ll come back to that.As for the final result, everything worked out very well and I’m very pleased with the product even after the install time. I did all the work myself so the only extra cost was a few extra materials used in the set up.The aim on the sprayheads is pretty much spot on. It obviously takes some getting used to and it takes a tiny bit of movement to potentially achieve full coverage but I really couldn’t be happier with how this purchase turned out. I would say on average we are using a third or less toilet paper per flush then we were before. To anyone who wants to promote environmental consciousness I can’t imagine why bidet seats are not pushed heavily in the United States these days.I probably utilize under an additional pint of water for cleaning and almost no toilet paper. Compare this with the manufacture of toilet paper and distribution this not only is the huge cost savings but environmentally it’s much easier to filter water then it is to make toilet paper.I’ve gotten so used to this that realistically I have the problem of not really wanting to use the restroom in any other place.Whenever you realize that you’re not going to be using a bidet you start looking around to wonder exactly how much toilet paper and how big of a mess and how long is this Is all going to take. So that’s probably one of the biggest drawbacks of using one.Cleaning the toilet periodically is also something that unfortunately is made additionally worse by this product. As a side effect of the spray you end up transmitting more material to the rear of the bowl. Especially to under the lip.For me this has resulted in having to clean much more frequently that I had to before. I’ve just recently had to unlatch the seat and very carefully hover it in order to get better access to the rear of the toilet bowl.Given my product experience I will say that it’s a necessary trade off but a rather unpleasant one.Now onto the issues, of which there aren’t many. The included diverter is simply a solid piece of metal pipe, there’s no flow adjustment. Now of course there’s a lever on the side of the seat that you would believe adjusts a wide range of flow and therefore pressure. Well you would be wrong, possibly painfully so.In my experience the variable-ness of the side valve isn’t very wide. That is the say the difference between the strongest and the lightest pressures is not very much. If you’re looking to start off and be gentle and work up to what you can stand or what you need, the valve on the side of the seat will be woefully inadequate for you.Right now what I do is I turn on the lever on the seat to around the max flow setting, I then turn on the variable diverter slowly and gently until I’ve basically cracked open the valve and the flow has started. Most of the time at this rate I’m good, sometimes I’ll crack the diverter valve open a little more. But I can tell you that at no point have I cracked the diverter valve open more than a half way.At full water pressure at the lowest, farthest, bidet valve setting I believe the pressure is way way way too much. To the point that you may have lasting effects and feel you’ve slightly hurt yourself.I strongly urge everyone to get a diverter with a variable ball valve of sorts in it so that they can control the pressure at a fine level. After I’m done I’ll shut off the variable valve at the diverter first then I shut off the valve at the seat. This ensures that there’s no water pressure in the line between the diverter valve and the seat in case of a slight leak. With the setup I have I essentially have four connections outside the fill valve that can potentially leak water. By using the diverter valve I can shut off pressure entirely to the line that goes from the diverter to the bidet. While this line could leak in the future, without the force of water pressure, it will not actively leak if such a problem occurs. If you use the included diverter, full house pressure is pushed against the bidet variable valve all the time and to me this just increases the chances of leaking. The last issue, I contacted the manufacturer about and got a fairly unsatisfactory answer and that has to do with the 3/8 braided hose connection that actually connects to the bidet seat. That end of the hose has a circlip that holds in a series of gaskets. It appeared to be that the company or designer had wanted you to be able to replace those gaskets overtime. What made sense to me was you’d be able to replace these gaskets because you have to disconnect the bidet seat in order to fully unlock it from the toilet and clean everything including the seat itself. To me it didn’t look like the bidet seat hose and fitting was designed to be connected and disconnected very often. But the manufacturer instructions were to do just that to clean the seat on a regular basis. To me this meant keep reusing the same gasket getting crushed over and over again until you have leaks and then throw the product away. Now the company does sell a new braided hose replacement in its inventory. But they do not sell the gaskets nor do they give you any information about them. Then I ask why in the world is there a disconnect clip that allows you to replace the gaskets if you don’t offer the gaskets for sale? This is probably my biggest concern overall. But if you’re going to continue to reuse the same gasket material on the hose I wouldn’t remain comfortable on how long that’s going to work until you’re going to develop a small leak.Given how the company developed a quick mounting feature at all, I found this really upsetting. This is probably the one kink in the entire product line that’s going to either keep people from properly cleaning their seat or could be an early failure point for those that do wish to clean the seat on a regular basis.I might just resign myself to seeing if I want to replace the braided hose every three or five years or so and maybe that has to be the answer.Right now everything is working fine so it’s sort of a “we’ll see” in the future problem. Luckily because I have a valve on my diverter, should the hose develop a small leak the diverter is turned all the way off and therefore will not continue to leak when not in use.I highly recommended the seat due to low cost and simple workings to friends and family. No one’s taken me up on the recommendation however. But I’ll continue to use it into the future and see how long it lasts me. But I can say that if you’re on the fence at all, I don’t regret buying this model of seat compared to others. If you’re looking for a fully mechanical model that doesn’t use electricity and doesn’t have the additional features then this is the model for you. I can also attest that using Cold water in the wash is a non-issue. It doesn’t even feel cold after it gets started. So fear not. Take the leap and make sure you allocate the correct time and resources to doing it correctly. You won’t be disappointed, it’ll just improve your hygiene and quality of living.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect 🤏🏼
*by A***. on August 9, 2024*

I bought 3 of these for my new home. The Pros:Install was easy albeit uncomfortable for a big guy. The bidet function is fantastic. On that I couldn’t be happier. A lot of people talk to me about how they don’t think they would like it because it’s cold water, but they couldn’t be more wrong. It’s freaking refreshing. This will be your first toilet that is capable of putting you in a good mood. I’ve tried warm water ones before and it frankly feels really gross. The Cons:The seat itself feels cheaply made. As I mentioned before I am a bigger guy, and this thing creaks and cracks like I’m on an 18th century sailing ship. The other thing with the seat is that due to how they put the bidet gear in it, you loose a lot of the over all oval shape of the seat. I feel like I’m choking up on the bat when I sit down. Again this might be a “big guy” problem. 🤷🏼‍♂️ All I know is that when I bought the house and saw the toilets where the elongated oval shape I was happy because my last house had round ones and I didn’t like touching the front of the seat with my junk. But now with these seats on them, I’m back to that problem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally one that checks all the boxes!
*by Y***C on July 4, 2025*

Finally a toilet seat bidet that 1) has accurately aimed nozzles, 2) has self cleaning nozzles, 3) an extra boost of water pressure if you need it, 4) easily removable for cleaning, and 5) easily adjustable when installing. Believe it or not, I had a lot of difficulty finding one with all these features. So I'm very happy. With one exception that I hope the manufacturer is getting feedback about: This piece comes with hardware for two methods of installation. One is pretty standard, the other consist of two black rubber inserts that you have to place (force) into the molded seat mounting holes on the toilet bowl. You insert the specially sized screws through the mounting block on the bidet into the rubber insert thingies. Then you tighten them up from underneath, causing (theoretically) the rubber inserts to compress into the toilet bowl mounting holes, thereby holding the seat in place. Exactly how this new and improved method of attachment is actually improved is apparently beyond my powers of comprehension. It's difficult and time consuming repeatedly trying to get the seat lined up properly on the bowl, and when you finally do, it will NOT stay in place no matter how many times you re-do it. If you want to save yourself a lot of aggravation and time trying to accomplish this feat, find the bag that has the two black rubber thingies, and toss the entire bag. Don't even bother opening it. Attach the seat using the same toilet seat mounting bolts people have used for decades. You're welcome.
