Pamela is so bravely honest about her life and writes as if your talking to your best friend one on one. I found myself going on a journey with her in this book. For those who need to know how hot Mick Jagger was calm down its in there but theres so much more to this woman. Her positive vibrant spirit jumps out at you within these pages, a spirit that as you read the book your drawn to and you just want her to keep writing more. Pamela is so very creative in her writing she makes you feel every ounce of her experience. In this book you can really relate to her in so many ways and we can all gain by her positive strength and spirit. Pamela shines a white light, a light that will leave you wanting more. This is a must read, you'll enjoy every moment, every page every word and even though Pamela has led a limelight life you can still relate to her as a woman on a journey. I couldnt put it down and Im a hard cookie to crack. No longer the faery groupie with flowers in her hair, Miss Pamela marries her rock'n'roll dream and finds out so much of that dream was just myth and fantasy with no substance (maybe a lot of substance abuse only). She shows the reality of being the Mrs. to a rock guy. And yet she is able to communicate that even though he didn't turn out to be the magical prince she thought all rock gods are, she was able to continue to love him. Even after they break apart she loves him. Plus she now ha a son (who sounds like he may be an aspergers syndrome child) to raise. I think she gave far too much credit for her survival and getting through the rabbit hole intact to all that mysticism hocus pocus rather then crediting her own self, her resourcefulness, her determination to somehow make a living just to provide for her son--which kind of disturbed me (that she seems not to realize that she did it herself, it wasn't magic nor the way the stars laid out or something). And like most women who love themselves, she has a gang of strong women survivor friends who are there through all the husbands, boyfriends, ups and down. It is also nice to know that as she's grown up and is now a mature woman, she has continued to love the music and those that make it, and she continues to find her stairway to heaven through writing. She let's you peek at the soft underbelly of the world of the women who marry into rock. It was also gratifying to finally hear her admit (unlike most of the other groupies who have written stuff) that she was hurt and angry when one of her past rock idols said some scathing things about groupies; where would he be without groupies? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Candid and refreshing. *by F***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2018* Loved it. Miss P does not disappoint when rounding out the lives of those around her. You almost feel like you might just know them too! She reminds us that everyone still has dreams and its okay to actively pursue them while slouching through the mundane crap of everyday life. And to keep on smiling and looking for the positives!
