However, they are too heavy to complete the figure eight on their own. They usually slow down and stop before the motorized (spinning wheels) mechanism can send them around the track again. Only the car that came with the set (light-weight plastic muddy McQueen) can make it around the track numerous times. I have not able to find other light-weight plastic cars that work well on this track. I take 2 stars off for that. **Q: Do hot wheel cars work with this?** A: I don't think hot wheels will work as they look narrower than the Cars cars. **Q: Is the car that comes with the set a die cast car?** A: No it is not die cast. But my son has used a die cast car to play with it. **Q: Will the large die cast Miss Fritter work with this track?** A: the die cast is too big for the track...per my 9 year old son who has the track. they suggest "deluxe" vehicles won't fit on this track. good luck! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/44094986-disney-pixar-cars-3-thunder-hollow-criss-cross-track-set](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/44094986-disney-pixar-cars-3-thunder-hollow-criss-cross-track-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
