Review: Great quality! - Compared a lot of crib mattresses to buy for granddaughter’s visits (10 months old). The research said the mattress was more important than the crib itself! Selected the Lullaby Earth Breath Safe 2-stage breathable mattress. Arrived well-packaged. Like the fact that the breathable cover for Stage-1 is removable if you need to clean. Love the quality and weight: sturdy but easy for me to lift and apply crib sheet. Granddaughter slept so well on it for entire week of visit. Very well crafted. This one was the right match for quality vs cost for us.

**Q: Does this mattress come with the mattress cover that is show in the picture?**
A: Yes, it comes with a mattress cover and you can choose from different colors.

**Q: Do standard crib sheets fit this mattress without sliding off or compromising baby safety?**
A: The standard crib sheet fits perfectly/snug, so there's also no worry of too much loose fabric.

**Q: If the breathability feature is in the cover and not the mattress would it just work to buy the cover and put on a different mattress?**
A: I’m not really sure. It’s been a year since I purchased the mattress and I really can’t remember if there is any breathability feature in the mattress.  I can say that we had a lot of peace at mind after the purchase and our baby never had an issue with sleeping or difficulty breathing.

**Q: Is the mattress itself breathable or is it just the cover?**
A: Just the cover is breathable.  But that is what is so great about it!  The crib mattresses that are breathable to the inside are prone to growing mold and are VERY hard to clean.  In terms of breathability, the cover design is just as safe.  And if it gets soiled, you can just put it in your washing machine.

We purchased this mattress for our son when he was born. He is almost two now and we have loved this mattress! The cover is key as it has a super breathable design. The mattress is safe and super lightweight. It is in the same condition it was in when we bought it! We just purchased this mattress a second time for our baby girl as our son will continue to use this in his toddler transition! Highly recommend.
