I'm a side-sleeper with an hour glass hip to waist ratio. It took a long time to figure out why I've been in pain from morning to night, but I realized my waist has been sinking into the bed at night. I've also been rolling onto my back halfway (hips would stay in side position/shoulders in back position). The combination has caused pain in my hips, lower back, and middle/upper back. I've been doing physical therapy to try and undo the damage. I bought this pillow as a last resort to help after trying various ones around my house. It supports my waist when I'm in side position and keeps me from rolling over at night which saves my lower back.I'm finally waking up without pain every morning and am sleeping better through the night.
