The Wahl  Heat Spy High Performance DHS28X is our Ultra-High Temperature Range handheld infrared thermometer.  With a rugged, cast and extruded aluminum case, the internal electronics are protected from any stray EMF generated from machinery or engines.  This model has an enclosed optical sight for aiming, and is designed for the measurement of glass gobs, heat treating,  annealing, welding, and metal ingot operations.  Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit scales.  Does not measure through glass ports.  Practical working distance is 0 to 40 ft., while distance-to-spot ratio is 20:1. LCD Display. Spectral range is 8 to 14 microns.  Accuracy is ±0.3% of full scale; Repeatability is ±3°F.  Resolution is 1°F / °C. Powered by one 9V Alkaline battery.  Three Year Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.  Comes with User Manual, 1 - 9V Alkaline battery, Carrying Case, trigger Lock, and AC Adapter.  Weight: 2.2 lbs (0.99 kg).
