The tail portion is 1/2" wide and 4" long for a total length of 6" overall. 0.070" thick. The first A and last C have wider tails - 3/4" and 7/8" (same width as the head) respectively. Because key dimensions vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer, replacement keytops are made slightly oversize and filed to fit after installation.
