It was perfect for wedding signage. It's not a classic chalkboard, so you cannot use real chalk. I used washable chalk markers, which worked perfectly. I was able to fix / wipe off any minor mistakes. I then sprayed an acrylic sealer to keep it for good. Great product, perfect size. I will definitely be purchasing this again for other events. Review: This is terrible quality for the price. So incredibly disappointed!!! - Showed up a day late and damaged. Cheap for what I paid. The wood at the top was broken and splintered off. The shipping box was shotty and it probably broke in transit. Regardless, for $60+ bucks, I expected more and I'm VERY disappointed. I really need it for a craft fair in a few days so I'm going to have to do my best to super glue it and put my own hardware on the top of it (instead of the 4 screws that were just tossed into the box loose) with no instructions or pre-drilled locations to attach the back panel to the front. But, I liked the looks of it so much that I ordered another. That one wasn't broken, so now I am quite happy. It is cute! But, don't order it if you need it asap because you might need to try a couple orders to get one that is in one piece.
