It did program but I had to stand right by the door to get it to work. After a week, the programming failed. I was going to return the fob but decided to check the battery. Volt meter showed the installed battery at 1.5v. The 2032 is a 3v battery. I put in a new one - it programmed perfectly and has functioned without any problems for nearly a year now.
