An amazing value. *by C***5 on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2017* This is the Echo stand you should buy! It is all metal, of superb quality, and is cleanly machined, with a beveled silver outside edge on both the top and bottom discs that adds a classy touch. The posts are metal too, and the screws are painted black, unlike many of the plastic stands for the Echo. The finish of the stand is a classy semi-matte finish. There are four black support rods, but they are paired about an inch apart, with the pairs opposite each other on the base. This makes the rods less obvious than four rods spaced every 90° around the base, as on most other Echo stands. The unit comes disassembled in a box, with the upper and lower discs in a tray, carefully protected from scratches. Included are extra screws and an Allen wrench for assembling the unit. The Echo is protected from being scratched by the inside of the upper ring with the included narrow strip of self-adhesive rubber. This strip must be carefully applied to the inner surface of the ring where the Echo could come into contact with the metal. The adhesive on the strip is strong, so be sure to position it carefully so it does not have to be peeled off and reapplied. The power supply cord is easily pushed into the Echo after the stand is assembled, and the Echo is slid into place. I turned the unit upside down, and slid the power cord into place in the bottom of the Echo quite easily. The rods and base plate do not interfere at all with inserting the power cord, which is sometimes a problem with other Echo stands. The only change I would like is for the rubber strip to be black instead of gray. This is a classy looking stand, and there is not a chance my cat will be able to knock it over. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not Just For Echo *by S***I on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2017* To start off I want to say I didn't buy this for an Echo, I don't have one. I got this to hold my UE Boom Bluetooth Speaker, not the Mega Boom. It came quickly, 2 days & free shipping. It comes packaged very nicely. It comes in pieces that have to be put together with the included screws & wrench (I had 2 extra screws that I didn't need, yet). It goes together relatively easy. The only challenge I had was putting the rubber strip around the inside of the top ring. Don't pull the backing off all at once. The rubber strip is not needed for the stand to do it's assigned task, so you don't really need it.The UE Boom fits fine, actually it fits with plenty of extra space around it. I don't know if the MegaBoom will fit. The stand doesn't seem to effect the sound. Just make sure the stand is sitting on a solid surface.If you have any cylindrical shaped speaker, anything else for that matter, that is 3.5" in diameter, or less, this is a perfect solution to keep it from falling over or rolling away. I can highly recommend this to you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wish it had a grommet at the top to snug up to the Echo. *by G***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2017* This works good but I thought it would be padded or snug to Alexa. There is space between so if it fell over I have some concerns. It is better than not having anything. I wish there were a rubber grommet that would fit at the top to snug it up to Alexa (Echo) so that it would protect better. I don't plan on the Echo getting knocked over but just in case.
