You can never have too many balls, as you temporarily lose them throughout the house. We purchased these to add to his collection. My son picked the half white/half blue. They are nice looking. When comparing them to his original nerf rival balls, they are pretty close. The size works well in his rival gun without any issues. The squish factor isn’t consistent, but we noticed that not all his nerf ones were either. There is definitely a greater difference in these though. Some quite a bit softer/harder than others. This doesn’t affect our play in any way though. None of them are so hard that they would be dangerous. Unless of course you are doing a direct shot to someone’s eye, but let’s hope that’s not happening. They came with a mesh bag for storage and a clip to make carrying them around perhaps on a belt loop easier. That was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. The quality on these seem well made, we haven’t had any fall apart. We will probably be buying more in the future. We like the option to chose different colors so we know who’s is who. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flare Vs. Performance. (Half/Half vs Solid color) *by C***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2017* Recently got the Nemesis and Hera and needed more rounds. I got the solid red headshot bawlz in the past with great satisfaction. They perform well. I saw the addition of half half colored bawlz, so I took advantage (got Blue/White).The consistency of the bawlz to each other is moderate. They are mostly good with a few super squishy ones. But the consistency of the foam between the blue half / white half is noticeable. When you handle the bawlz, you can squish the individual sides and feel a difference. More importantly, when I use them in the spring blasters (Apollo and Atlas mostly, somewhat in the Artemis), they curve in flight depending on how they were oriented in the magazine. The hop-up in the blasters does not affect the colored sides evenly. In the Atlas this could be a good thing, giving you more "shotgunny" spread if the rounds were oriented differently. But especially in the Apollo at moderate - long ranges, it is very noticeable and a huge detriment. The variety in spread is less noticeable in the flywheel blasters. In the Nemesis and Hera, there is almost no spread, which is good (I'm assuming the horizontal flywheels are to thank). In the Zeus and Khaos (Khaos more so), the inconsistency is more noticeable. The solid reds gave me no such issues.If you NERF seriously, I recommend the solid colored bawlz for any blaster. However, the half/half rounds are more of a question of "Do you want more swag than performance?". For flare purposes they do the job very well. The white is also very visible when the time comes to recollect the bawlz after a match. However, for performance, I would not recommend, especially for Springers, with one exception. The Atlas is a personal favorite for CQB battles because of its shotgun 2-at-a-time use. I will certainly be using the half/half rounds in my Altas due to their inconsistent flight paths giving the shotgun effect more spread. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not as good as the Nerf Ammo. *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018* As much as I would love to give this a 5 star, but instead I am giving it a 3. The problem with this, is that it's not like the after market NerfAmmo. The Head-Shot ammo is much weaker in power, speed and accuracy than the Nerf Ammo. Also that the head-shot ammo is muchsofter and lightweight which is what I had explained about it being weak. It is a bit disappointing. The only way to get the Head-shot ammoto shoot good, is by modifying the guns which is adding/upgrading a more powerful spring or motor. Other than that, the only things I likeabout the HS ammo, is the price being very good, you get a lot of ammunition and also there is a variety of different colors to choose from.Nerf Ammo is only one color and is obviously way more for the money because of better quality and performance.
