The manufacturer immediately emailed me to understand the issue. I explained it and they sent me a new shallow and deep valve. I have a very high flow rate shower and with the shallow valve I get a little backup of water, but it fully drains in less then a minute once I turn off the water.The drain itself is the best looking 1 I saw during my search, especially at the price. The customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this as a drain extender if your tiling over old tile or as a drain for a new shower.
