They will go on top of my duvet with other pillow shams, seersucker and silk stripes-black on black. I think it will be a nice assortment. These go through the washer/dryer with no issues at all. The threads look delicate but apparently are quite sturdy. My queen pillows are over stuffed and I was able to squeeze them in with ease. I hand washed the covers in cold water with Woolite detergent and air dried them on towels. They look fresh and bright and feel soft to the touch. I love the look and the texture of the covers. They make the bed look airy and bright. They have no zippers just pockets but for the price they are an amazing quality covers. You can wash them in a washer too on cold water and gentle cycles setting. Let them air dry to ensure that they will not shrink. Similar covers in high end department stores cost three times as much.
