I believe this version was shipped to me by default because I live in the US. The ones they sell in the U.K., Europe and Russia are AC 230 V, 50 Hz. The Brazil and General models have a voltage selector switch that can be switched between AC 120 V, 60Hz or AC 230 V, 50 Hz . Mine does not have this switch. So, in answer to your question, does mine support AC 230 V, 50 Hz, no it does not. There are other varieties out there depending on where you live. Just ask the company shipping the receiver which version they’re sending before you order it. **Q: Can you use non yamaha wireless speakers with this receiver?** A: I believe any wireless speakers will work. They will have to be paired with the receivers Bluetooth. **Q: With this could i tri-amp a pair of psb t3 towers? towers have 3 terminals each, avr have (fronts r&l + bi-amps/extra sp1 + front presence/extra sp2)** A: One mode that is supported by this receiver is to bi-amp the two main front speakers in a multi-speaker arrangement. In addition to bi-amping the front speakers, it will also independently feed two woofers (using external amplifiers). So you could tri-amp by using the bass woofer channel to feed the low frequencies and then the bi-amp channels to feed the mid-range and tweeter. **Q: Can you play different sources to all three zones?** A: Yes you can. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big upgrade from a Yamaha TSR-7810, CHECK. *by J***N on November 8, 2017* The System - RX-A3070 is currently running a 7.0.4 speaker configuration. Front left and right speakers are BIC EV-15s driven by a Crown XLS 2502. Center, surrounds, and presence speakers front and back are BIC FH6-LCRs and the back surrounds are FH65-Bs.Some Impressions - having the full speaker set really does add to the experience when watching movies. Atmos movies make better use of the extra speakers, but running the DSPs on a 7.1 track still adds to the overall immersion. The 11 channels also add a lot more volume over a 7 channel speaker configuration. That was one of my first impressions after the upgrade, plus the extra 55 watts per channel didn't hurt. The A3070 is much quicker switching sources than the 7810 in my opinion and feels a bit more snappy in general.YPAO Witchcraft - the YPAO measurement makes the DSPs feel more vivid and real on the A3070 than on the TSR-7810. The panning between speakers for moving objects in scenes also feels a lot more accurate than on the old receiver. Not saying the 7810 is bad, there is quite the price difference between units...Sounds quality - I have not had too many opportunities to push this AVR, but when I have the power feels limitless vs the TSR-7810. The mid tones on the A3070 feel much more pronounced than the old receiver. The TSR-7810 did really well with movies, but the sound felt a bit thin when playing back music. The clarity and crispness is very much there with this receiver.The remote - it has all the necessary buttons in my opinion, I like being able to change a lot of things with fewer button presses. Being able to program the remote for my TV's basic functions was also a nice plus over the TSR-7810.The App - I like being able to tweak and play with the DSPs from the app. I still prefer the remote for basic operation.Overall - I am really enjoying this receiver! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good sound but has a blemish *by I***S on January 5, 2020* The sound is great in pure direct mode, but I have to get a surround output channel fixed. The left surround pre-out is noticeably fuzzy/hissy compared to the other channels. Its not the external amp or the cables - it's definitely the pre-out channel. That's the reason for deducting a full star.The manual could have been written clearer. If it was possible to give 3.5 stars, I would.. It took a while to figure out how to get dolby atmos working. I thought it was the external input signal but it turned out the blu-ray player and streaming sources were good after all. Hint: read all the fine print in the manual and don't miss anything.It does produce good sound but I'll probably experiment with a different brand in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better than my Marantz, and more durable *by D***N on June 21, 2020* This receiver lit up my klipsch home theater system. I've never had bi-amp speakers before and my Marantz didn't have that option. The sound quality of the front towers was noticeably better. The Marantz I had was around $900, but soon after warranty something burnt up inside, and when it happened again, I got the Yamaha and happy I did so. I've had no problems, except for figuring out how to set initial volume. I normally like to familiarize my self with new equipment by reading the manual, but this manual was huge. I lucked into setting first time, but I had to RTFM the second. It was easy to find in manual. This was probably above my needs based on the manual size, but I'm glad I spent every dollar.
