Only a very few people who've led their lives hibernating beneath rocks aren't at least a little familiar with America's most iconic, bumbling, hilarious, and wildly popular stoner fools, so the rest of us know what we're getting into. If you're a fan, you already know you'll have a hoot. If you've got a sense of humor and aren't overly burdened by stuffy church-ish prudishness, maybe not so much. As always, the writer is witty, clever, and often purposefully sophomoric. In other words: a delightfully irreverent and welcomed addition to the Christmas movie libraries of Americans everywhere. Three thumbs up. ### ⭐⭐ Aw, Man! They Didn't Send My "Waffle Bot!!!" *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2014* The MAIN reason I went with Goodwill, on this purchase, was that this was SUPPOSED to be the Collector's Edition, complete with Blu-ray & DVD, 3 ping-pong balls, & (drum roll) a Waffle Bot figure. The SINGLE Blu-ray disk was ALL I sent.When I emailed the Store on this matter, as they directed, I never received a response. For the PRICE I paid, I would have been better off getting this same Blu-ray BRAND NEW!!! :-(As for the MOVIE itself, it seems to be a natural progression of our beloved, Stoner Heroes. The Christmas backdrop immediately sets it apart from first two. The humor retains the series raunchy irreverence, & Neil Patrick Harris is ever the scene stealer. So I'd rate the MOVIE itself a 3 out of 5 as I found it not quite as funny as the previous 2 movies. ### ⭐⭐ Straining for Laughs *by N***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2018* Based on the previews, I was expecting a lot more from this movie. I'm all for goofy and irreverent comedies when they're well done, but the jokes and situations in this one were SO forced. There were a few times where I chuckled a bit, but no out-loud laughs. The movie just didn't flow and seemed to plod along making the most obvious jokes. If you're looking for a fun and funny holiday movie that contains chemical substances and off-the-wall humor, I recommend "The Night Before".
