I seasoned the pans as directed using canola oil. Both pans sit flat on my glass top stove when empty. The slightly above average length handles did not cause the pans to tip - the balance of the pans is good. The instructions that came with my stove advise to lift (all) pans on and off the burners and to not slide them to prevent or minimize scratching - I believe this is standard for glass top stoves, so these pans are indeed compatible with glass top stoves. The first use of these pans was successful: food did not stick during cooking (even after burning a sticky sweet sauce) and the non-stick surface cleaned up easily with soap and water. Some of the sticky sauce was burned onto the aluminum outside of the pan and it took scrubbing with an abrasive sponge to remove it.
