The Shark Vertex Powered Lift-Away is Shark’s most powerful vacuum, featuring DuoClean PowerFins. (vs. original DuoClean) Plus, Powered Lift-Away lets you detach the pod to go under furniture with a motorized nozzle or clean above the floor with a push of a button.

Review: Amazing vacuum, only two attachments - This is a beast of a vacuum. Just received it today and already have gone over most of my floors to pick up what my other smaller Shark did not pick up today and filled the canister. I bought this one because my other Shark kept getting my massive amount of dog hair clogged in the roller brush. This one already seems to not have a problem with clogging. I have a mixture of bare floors, throw rugs and carpet. You can see the vacuum sucking in debris on bare floors just by getting close to an area; the suction is that strong. It works on the carpet amazingly also. The throw rugs are a little difficult as the suction is so powerful. On other vacuums I can use the bare floor setting, but with this one, keeping it on high pile carpet seems to be the only way to not suck up the rugs completely. I originally wanted to rate this as 4 stars because the information provided for the vacuum is incorrect. The photos and description all show and state that there are three attachments. However, only two come with the vacuum, the crevice tool and dusting brush. The power brush does not come with it. I was pretty disappointed when I discovered this, as I have an older power brush that I love that I used so much it now is being held together with duct tape. But for the cost I saved on the vacuum during Prime Day, I could buy a ton of power brushes separately. As read in previous reviews this is definitely a heavier vacuum to push on carpets, but that's because it is so powerful. I will consider this a good workout as I clean the house.

**Q: Do you have to detach the tank to use the hose?**
A: Not at all. You can use the hose while attached to the whole vacuum, but for higher up spaces I would recommend detaching the tank and holding it as you vacuum. The hose isn’t super long.

**Q: can you turn off the power fins when vacuuming hard floors?**
A: Yes you can. The hard floor setting on the handle stops the power fin roller and increases suction. That with the soft roller is awesome on hard floors.

**Q: Can you turn odor neutralizer off?**
A: If you don't want the odor neutralizer feature, think about ordering the model that does not include that feature.  I have the model without the odor neutralizer, and it is certainly the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned!

**Q: How does the Roller work on carpet and can I lift the roller up**
A: The roller works great on carpet. No you cannot lift the roller up.

This is a beast of a vacuum. Just received it today and already have gone over most of my floors to pick up what my other smaller Shark did not pick up today and filled the canister. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top vacuum without the Marketing Hype

I have owned this vacuum now for over three years. I live with two Labs that shed contently and need to vacuum daily. I have owned at least seven different vacs over the past 40 years always living with multiple dogs. This vac has outperformed all the vacuums that I have used. It is so well engineered and thoughtfully put together. The suction is incredible the rollers never get bunged up or clogged with hair. The ease of removing the main body from the business end of the vac allows for easy access to under furniture or use on stairs, not to mention the extra reach from the power plug that is obtained at least 5more feet. Clean out is a breeze with the trap door on the bin and the additional top door opening. It is such a good vacuum that I purchased one as a bonus for my G.M. when she mentioned she was looking for a vacuum. Although the cost is more than a lot of vacs but not as munch as the cordless hyped alternatives under the "D****" brand. Buy this vac you will not regret it.
