The spatula is much larger than the flimsy ones generally used in the kitchen. The burger press is solid and works to squeeze ground meat onto the griddle surface to give it a nice crispy edge (just remember to use parchment paper between the meat and press or the ground beef will stick to the metal). We haven't used the shaker yet but how could it go wrong?
