Indeed we designed the pan to save you the time and effort of pre/blind baking crusts whilst achieving a truly delicious crispy crust and in less time! **Q: What are the dimensions of this pan?** A: The pan is 9 inches wide and 2 inches deep. There are a few other perforated pans on the market they all tend to be tart pans so have less depth normally 1 inch and we also thickened the carbon steel on ours so it is both bigger and stronger. **Q: Is the pan dishwasher safe?** A: Absolutely Yes! Also if you are someone without a dishwasher the pan is super non stick so very easily cleaned regardless. **Q: What's the deal with the removable bottom how does that work?** A: When your pie etc. is cooked place the pan on a jar. The base and sides of the pan are separate so the base will stay on top of the jar but the side will drop to the table. So your pie will not need to be cut from the pan avoiding any damage to it! **Q: Does the pan leak as it has holes in?** A: Hi, most of the time this isn't an issue. Some customers use a cookie sheet on a rack below the pie pan so that if a hole does develop any juices are caught by the sheet below.
