It broke and I was forced to use these new sharpeners that have a V instead of the rollers. I could never get them to work as well as my old one and the V sharpeners always left nicks in the blade. That's why I was excited to see this one that was a new design but still had the rollers that worked well for me and my family in the past. It worked just like my old one! I'm so excited. My knives cut like new again!It's very easy to pull the knife through the rollers and this new design is really cool. They have positioned the rollers in a way that allows you to sharpen scissors as well (there is a special slot). My scissors cut much better now. The built in sharpening stone is really neat too. I was able to work out a few nicks in some of my old knives with it.
