I was replacing the discharge pipe on a LG combo washer dryer and just running the hose inside of the machine took about 3 feet of the 12. The hose is quality material and is heavy duty. There was nothing of this quality in any of the local hardware stores. The LG hose in comparison was a fairly brittle plastic material and very thin. I cut the end to fit the 1" discharge pipe on the machine, applied a little dish soap and it attached easily with the furnished hose clamp. Be aware that the outside diameter of this discharge hose is around 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inches, so make sure you have the room to pass through tight areas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped me free up floor space. *by C***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2017* Needed to move my washing machine back against a wall, but the 6ft hose was too short. I was able to cut this hose to fit my washer just fine and I've run a few wash cycles with no leakage or problems.
