He and his little brother (4) both love all things super hero- like most boys their age. I hadn’t seen or heard about this particular toy, but it was a hit!!! With the lights, the flying plane, and the remote control - there is a lot to do! We had so much fun taking turns and sneaking up on people with a surprise attack. It was also a great match with the Batman transformer robot we got his brother- they were having battles with each other immediately. I normally don’t encourage fighting, guns and violence, but this is a fun and light hearted fighting gift. And the plane will only shoot up and the end has a soft rubber tip so no one can really get hurt. Both boys loved this toy as did their father! My only concern is the use of the remote control. It may take a little time to get used to how to maneuver- but that is to be expected. I am very happy with my purchase. It’s got 75 different sayings that don’t repeat over and over and it’s not so loud it’s annoying .the remote is simple to use and driving is a breeze . The bat wing which I was nervous might hurt him or someone while shooting across the house has a foam soft rubber nose and is so light weight it wouldn’t hurt a fly and only travels 4-5 ft . Before it takes off their is a countdown which lights up the little runway so everyone has a warning it’s about to take off . The remote fits onto the back of the truck so it never gets lost . I have bought the giant 3foot Batman robot and numerous other toys popular right now which he loves but for the money I’m telling you this is the real deal .
