In fact, they are just ridiculous...but in a good way. By using soft loop tie down straps, I have attached them to my barbells, pulley handles and to my dip belt for pull ups. Using these chains for pull ups has been unbelievable. While hanging from my ceiling mounted pull up bar, about 1/3 of the chain is on the ground. As I pull, the progressive load increases, until the entire chain is off the ground at the top of my rep. These chains have enhanced my training and will benefit me greatly. The post office had to bring these bad boys in special boxes because they couldn’t handle the weight. If you are serious about lifting and know what chains have to offer in your training then you’ll be exceptionally pleased with these.Made of thick, heavy gauge steel, there is nothing that could harm these, they will last forever. We do currently own other sets of chains from rogue and they weren’t heavy enough for the real lifting we are doing..these get the job done. Price is on point and shipping was fast.I will say they are loud when you get to squatting with them for fast reps. We have already incorporated them in our training with squats, deadlifts, and specialty bars. They work with any piece of equipment with the included carabiner and chain. They can also work for any height person with an adjustment to the carrier chain. These are well-made, super rugged, smooth to the touch and weigh exactly as advertised. You might also want to purchase separate collars that are made with a bolt built in to attach chains to a bar in an elegant fashion, but the included smaller chains and carabiner work just fine.Well done and at an affordable price at that, especially considering the quality.
