I wanted it to be able to hold a sponge and may be a dish wand but it is very large. Can only hang it in the center wall so takes up a major portion of whichever side it is on. Cannot keep large plates or dishes on that side of the sink. My sink may be on the smaller side as well so if you have a larger sink then it should be fine for you. I got this based off the second image and the item seems to be larger than that. The bottom of the rack touches the curvature of my sink floor. I have an older sink right now that has a 2" divider and this does not fit. This will fit sinks that the divider is 1 1/2" or less. However I have a kitchen remodel planned and already have the new sink (just not installed). So I am really looking forward to using this.
