Β The pot holds 12oz so it's not that big but it's well made & nice looking. The color looks blackish but there are areas that are a lighter blue. It's pretty, the glaze is shiny. The inside is fully and evenly glazed. The rim of the pot and cover are unglazed & look like brick. The cover fits level on the rim. The honey"wand" fits easily into the pot. I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship of the pot. I recommend!Update: I've been able to transfer a 16oz bottle of honey into the pot with no problem! I purchased the slate blue color and it goes with my kitchen decor perfectly (I have Italian/Mediterranean colors). The honey pot is beautiful with excellent craftsmanship; the jar holds a good amount of honey and it's easy to take honey out of the jar via the included wood wand, by large spoon, or with a 1/3 c. measuring cup. The lid fits well; and the metal insignia is a nice added detail.
