Review: Worked for a year and a half. - Lasted for about a year and a half. I was using it for my high end TP-Link router since the one that came with it was defective and it was not worth returning the whole unit. I am not a fan of these cheaper, lower quality power adapters, especially for something so expensive, but I was willing to risk it because of the situation. The router worked fine, but I started to hear a high pitch noise but could not narrow down where it was coming from. About an hour later the noise stopped, and so did all my network activity. Since it did work for a while, only going to knock it to 4 stars, but it is a "you get what you paid for" thing. Jsut wish I could find a better quality one that did not cost so much.

Lasted for about a year and a half. I was using it for my high end TP-Link router since the one that came with it was defective and it was not worth returning the whole unit. I am not a fan of these cheaper, lower quality power adapters, especially for something so expensive, but I was willing to risk it because of the situation. The router worked fine, but I started to hear a high pitch noise but could not narrow down where it was coming from. About an hour later the noise stopped, and so did all my network activity. Since it did work for a while, only going to knock it to 4 stars, but it is a "you get what you paid for" thing. Jsut wish I could find a better quality one that did not cost so much.

The tips they added are nice. didnt need them in my case but it's nice. i bought this adapter for the EXTRA AMPS WHICH IS GOOD. IT IS GOOD PRACTICE TO USE HIGHER AMPS THAN WHAT YOUR DEVICE NEEDS IF IT EVER NEEDS FULL AMPS. why? it prevents or reduces overheating during long usage so go get this brother
