It essentially works but failed for my setup. I think it's primarily because I'm using very high-end power supplies. The problem is that the secondary power supply starts too late. It takes too long for the relay to switch over. With more basic power supplies which most people use, it would probably work fine. I'm giving it 3 stars because it does work, just not for me. But the issue I described could be overcome with a better design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and everything works great, no more unexpected shutdowns *by R***W on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2018* Had an issue where my computer was shutting down and only getting a 41 error in event viewer system logs. After testing the power output, figured I might need more power, but rather than swap out my PSU for a more powerful one (as they are in high demand and expensive ATM), I got a 650 W supply to go with my existing 1000W supply. I purchased the same PSU brand (Corsair RMx) so that both supplies are from same manufacturer, but I suspect this isn't necessary.All I did was shut down my rig and plug two of my 6 GPUs in the the 650 secondary supply. Then I plugged the motherboard power connection cable that came with the secondary 650 power supply into the Add2PSU, and a molex from my primary 1000 PSU into the Add2PSU. Turned both power supplies on, and everything works great, no more unexpected shutdowns. My system has been stable for weeks now. With both PSU power buttons in the 'on' position, they both shut down and start up with the rig if I need to restart or boot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good dead simple solution to PC power supply chaining for crypto rigs.
