In addition, I was pleased with the options for adjusting the tightness of the bands. I had to use the last hole on the band on my last strap and the band was still a little loose. In addition the tail end of my old strap didn’t want to stay tucked behind the loops and often stuck out from my wrist. Not only do I still have one or two more tightness options on this watch band, but the excess strap length has stayed tucked neatly in place. I admit I hadn’t thought about needing to take the leather strap off when taking a shower, but it hasn’t been an issue as the band has been easy to remove and reattach. (My last one would sometimes snag on itself when I was removing it.) I also appreciate the fact that the strap came with extra pins and a tool to assist with replacement.
