It's super sturdy, but the top is a little more slippery than I'd like. It's fairly narrow, so doing over the top moves (see 1st two pictures) can be a little dicey if you're not careful. If your shoes have a softer, more rubbery sole, you'll do better than with these new-not-ever-worn-outside Rykas I have on. In any case, like I said - it's very sturdy, doesn't take up much room, and I get a great workout on it, so I think it was a good value.
