Just now ordering a new one. The wallet was solid for 2 years, not a rip or tear. Last year it started ripping, the main card slot with the thumb hole plastic completely detached from leather surround. I cut out a piece of overhead transparency plastic and re stitched and and 4 years later it still hold cards, but its looking a bit worn. I was worried that the little bit of fabric between the eyelet for the key ring and the wallet would be the first thing to go but no it's still solid 4 years later. The back little pocket is where I carry 2 USB sticks with no problems. I will say the wallet is best with 2 cards per pocket. Just 1 card makes it a little loose. The clasp locks solid the zipper is smooth the quality is wicked decent for 12 bucks, After I lost my 250 dollar key a friend of mine said just get a wallet attached to a key ring that way you'll never take one but forget the other. I'm a minimalist, and would rather pare down to almost nothing. And yet I can't seem to avoid the stack of cards that keep crawling back into my wallet. This wallet is pretty compact and I'm pretty happy with it. I like that it has enough card compartments that I can keep them separate (credit cards, insurance cards, cash, etc), and it's slim enough that it fits into all but my smallest clutches. The snap is very secure but easy enough for quick access, without being as cumbersome as a zipper closure. The leather is holding up well, after nearly a year, and showing very wear. The stitching is even and tight; nothing is pulling or fraying, even at the corners where pockets sometimes tend to give. The zippered coin pocket on the outside is pretty tiny, but I don't tend to carry change, so that's fine with me. I'm more likely to use it to hold a pair of earrings I take off, or a few emergency quarters. Back in my younger years, I had multiple times of leaving the house and driving off without realizing that I had left my driver's license and money at home AND was low on gas. Oops. Since then, I have always had a combo wallet/keychain. It ensures that I always have my keys, license and money when I go anywhere. I've had multiple wallet/keychain combos similar to this one, but this has turned out to be my favorite. It's small, but fits all the cards/cash I need. (I didn't have any need for the extra photo/card holder in the middle, so I removed that.) It doesn't have velcro (as other items of this type do,) so it doesn't snag my clothing or get any lint build-up. And unlike other similar items, this one doesn't have issues closing when I've stuffed it full. Yet the wallet part is still small enough to fit into any of my back pockets.
