This pump is the heart and soul of my emergency water supply for our mountain cabin. I love it.

I purchased this pump, because I need to keep an extra one on hand. The day I needed it, when I plugged it in the motor never actually started. It just made a buzzing sound and soon had smoke coming out of it. Tried to return it and found out we could not return it through Amazon, because 30 days had gone by(it had been about 6 weeks since we purchased it). We were given the option to communicate with the seller about it, but every time we left a message for the seller amazon answered it and just gave us the same option again. We tried contacting the seller directly through there web page, but they do not respond. Kind of lost with what to do next. If I could give this transaction/purchase 0 stars I would.

Item still worked but someone must of dropped this pump came cracked. Had no choice but to install it but extremely disappointed it wasn't handled properly.
