The only problem with it is the center part sticks up above the bottom of the sink, which allows water to drain out even if the strainer is full, but this also means if you place a heavy pot in the sink, there is a lot of weight on this part of the strainer. Being made of perforated silicone, it will bend, come apart from the metal surround, and eventually break, as mine did after 8 months of use.
