Battery life is 5-6 hours at high volume. As ear protection they work great as well, I havent taken too many calls with them but they few I have taken there was no issue with the caller hearing me even with quite a bit of background noise on my end (CNC Lathe) I have tried both styles of earplug tips and they both work good, I prefer the flanged type. Some Pros and cons *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2017* The day after I wrote the review I got an email from the manufacturer. They said I had a defective unit and they would send me a new one ASAP. I got it in two days. I am going to raise from three stars to four stars. I will remove the items that have been fixed with the new unit.Cons:1. Removed.2. If you are working with your hands and you need to remove one of the collapsible plugs they suck the dirt off your fingers when you collapse the plug when you are returning it to your ear.3. Battery life is, not good for a full shift, maybe 5 hours of constant use.4. Charger is awkward to attach and the led is extremely tiny and hard to find. Don't loose the cord because its proprietary.5. It took 5 days to get email from manufacture. After that they responded within hours of my emails.6. Removed.7. The button for on/off/answer/pause must be pressed very hard to make connection.8. Button bar catches on things which sometimes pulls out of one ear and is directly below your chin so if you bend over to spit you will spit on the bar.Pros:1. Very, very, good noise protection, and you can listen to books, podcasts, music very well.2. Comfortable for long time use3. Collapsible foam plugs clean easily.4.
