But those only work if the buckle that is attached to the car seat is RIGID, and not flexible. Unfortunately, the 2018 subaru impreza buckle is flexible...rendering seat belt extenders useless because it doesn't matter how long of an extender you get. The moment you buckle up, the seat belt will tighten up around your stomach thanks to the flexible/bendable buckle. This is where the seat belt clip proves to be the better choice. All you have to do is clip it to the seat belt, slide it up, and it prevents the seat belt from tightening up! Also on the old one the buckle that went into the car seat belt actually bent and he had to throw it away. I was so please to find one like this on Amazon. No one should EVER drive in a car with a dog without this product. Could save their life and possible yours!!!!
