Great protein source! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious! *by V***2 on March 30, 2024* I do not purchase dehydrated meat, so this is a new experience to me. I purchased it primarily for making my own cup of soup. This is the second can I have purchased. The first can came with a lot of broken up pieces, but I didn’t know if that was normal, and since I am using in soup, I didn’t really care. This can came with primarily perfect cubes as you can see in the picture. I decided to hydrate a little bit for a quick snack. I didn’t perfectly measure the amounts for hydrating. I just threw a few pieces in boiling water, turned off the stove and popped the lid on. I forgot about it, so I didn’t follow the full directions of remove the lid after x minutes, stir, replace lid, etc. I remembered it about ten minutes later and came back to perfect hunks of chicken that I never would have known were previously dehydrated if I hadn’t done it myself. My dog was very happy to have the excess hydration water dumped in her food, and yeah … she may have gotten a piece or two of the chicken. It is shelf stable for a year after opening, and I see no problem using it before then. I took the first can to work to have for lunches. Second can to stay at home.
