AVOID *by C***S on 12 August 2026* I have been colouring my own hair for over half my life and I was very dissapointed with this dye. For 3 reasons... 1) it's not the colour advertised, it's not even very dark. It looks more red. 2) the quantity is so small, I usually can cover my hair adequately with 1 bottle, this barely covered my roots. 3) it dries on the head, because there's so little of it it creates a hard shell, and I think the drying has made my hair feel compromised. My hair essentially looks the same as before I dyed it, it's just got a slightly darker coating at the root, considering I could only cover not even half my hair, and I was worried to the point I ordered another bottle whilst the dye was 'working' to finish the job the next day. But there's not a noticeable contrast and it should be purple - see the photo I've attached-this is after I dyed just the roots and a patchy part of the lengths. I've cancelled my order for a second bottle, there is just no point in trying it, you can't really tell I even tried to dye my hair.
