Surface is slightly matte, seems better quality than mere slick plastic. Enables decent sleep in 90 Degree room on low speed. Way cheaper (and better for environment) than a/c or floor-standing fan. Don’t do summer without this beauty. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this 10 stars!!! PS: I love this so much I bought Kensuka’s around-the-neck fan and stroller fan (looks like an owl, has 2 turbo rotors). This one remains my favorite, so I bought a back-up (I buy back-ups only for devices I use a lot and depend on).

It's cute but not the most powerful battery-operated handheld fan out there. I like the design. Is a neat little gadget. There's no worry about getting hit with the blades. It's quiet-ish. I put up some pictures to give you a better idea of the dimensions.
