A: I purchased the black one with white stars. I can't imagine it getting dirty but if it did, I would probably use a wet cloth. I love mine!

A: I am uncertain about it being water resistant but I would say it is unlikely water proof. The material is very soft and would likely easily soak up any liquids near by or spilled on it.
