A: I am not sure what you mean by "Case" but it does come with a tactical kydex sheath.

A: Depends. It will work fine for skinning and processing animals. But you will need more of a machete combo knife for hacking/chopping wood or cleaning brush. Great last level of defense knife in the bush though.....
