I thought the bottom was an exposed clay, but I think they're actually glazed porcelain, so there's no porosity for germs. They wash up beautifully in the dishwasher, and were packed with great care for shipping. I will be getting more Mora dishes!

These are beautiful bowls! They are large, just like I needed, and not too heavy for their size. Very good quality. It’s perfect for all my daily mixing needs including sourdough(single loaves). Large set if you mix larger batches. Both sizes are gift quality, nicely packaged by the manufacturer.And dishwasher safe!! Love the aesthetic
