The stamped metal ones are too small to release the clips. The cast tools have a "step" so they have 2 sizes. For mine, I have to push all the way down into the step to get the connector to release. They work fine for me & I would think they are more durable then the plastic ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great alternative to plastic *by on Reviewed in the United States August 4, 2023* You will lose it before it breaks. The only issue I have is that the 3 wrenches are pretty useless compared to the metal mc4 tools. If I could buy them separate, I would. The tools work well and stay pushed into the release position better than plastic.
