First I have to say, you need to learn new Technic to play this guitar. When I started to play it didn't seem to be accurate, but after playing for a while I noticed some improvement. I think with more practice and some tweaking the result will be much better. I tried the TAP option and I noticed that it is more accurate. I think the strength of this guitar is by using it as a midi controller guitar. I tried it with Kontakt, FL studio and it works fine. Although it is plastic, the build quality seems to be good Hopefully I will update this review from time to time Review: does what it says it does. - The YRG is pretty cool, it does exactly what is advertised. It's a synthesizer for guitar players and to be honest it works quite a bit better when you use garage band or sample tank with it. The only real issue that I have with it are that the plastic on the neck is cracking where my fingers press too hard on the edges (it still plays fine but it's something to look into) and there is no palm mute or fretboard mute so either all the strings are muted when you release your hand from the fretboard or the open strings continue to play forever creating some interesting and often frustrating extra noise.
