If you have a WRX (non STi) please order SOA427V1660. **Q: Can this be used as power steering fluid on a 2010 Impreza 2.5 gt?** A: Check your owners manual. My 2013 WRX 2.5 turbo can use this as the power steering fluid. **Q: What is the capacity of a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5L ATF? I can't find it in the manual, so I don't know how much to buy. Doing a full drain** A: I have a 2010 subaru forester, but I believe we have the same transmission. It will drain about 4 quarts. Subaru recommends to drain all of the fluid into a container and measure it to replace the amount drained. The total capacity of my system is 11 quarts, but the rest will remain in the torque converter unless rebuilding it. The amount you drain (a little under 1/3) is the reason that Subaru has such short drain intervals (30,000 miles). Some people do multiple quick drains, but I just do what Subaru recommends which is drain what comes out of your transmission plug (the 4 quarts) every 30,000 miles. **Q: Does this work for a 2010 Subaru Forster x 4speed automatic transmission** A: Yes, that is the same transmission fluid used in all the 4 speed and 5 Subaru transmissions. I used this in both my 2009 legacy 2.5i and 2006 Tribeca with 3.0L engine and 5 speed transmission. It is NOT recommended for the new CVT transmissions. Used if for power steering fluid in my 2009 Subaru forester. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A/T fluid NOT CVT TRANSMISSION FLUID *by A***P on December 8, 2025* THIS IS NOT CVT TRANSMISSION FLUID. I bought the wrong fluid and realized it too late. The fluid is high priced compared to other brands but most subaru owners stick with OEM since their transmissions have issues with valve bodies and torque converters OEM quality is important to some brands. It fits perfectly inside the transmission pan when poured in. This is a red transmission fluid not the green CVT fluid fyi.
