Cooking for both of us means making mild food and then adding hot stuff for my husband afterward. If you like spicy food you know adding it at the end is not the same, or so I hear. This pot has resolved our gastronomical differences and allowed us to eat the same food with vastly differing Scoville levels. The pot is small enough to be considered "single" serving. I use two pots to cook the same meal but one with mild ingredients and one with what I can only describe as liquid-lava. I then use the same pots to serve the food, transferring it directly from the stove top or oven to the table via an included wood tray/trivet. Best part is the food stays to temperature as the stone retains heat. They're dishwasher safe and I've placed them in the dishwasher over 50 times each now and they look and function exactly the same. Only issue is if you're making bibimbap and let the rice get crispy at the bottom then you might need to do some scrubbing to remove the rice that may have burnt on.
