I did some research beforehand and checked several different outlets before ordering through desertcart (Tesco do stock the same machine but it's much more expensive). I consider this machine to be even better value as they include a nice Taster Box of 9 different varieties of coffee pods to sample although a minor moan - why isn't a decaff pod included ? The machine itself is good quality (made by Philips - a long established trusted legacy brand) although I have my concerns that the plastic release handle/flap/locking lever to insert new pods does feel like it won't put up with masses of wear and could become slack or even brittle at some point but only time will tell on this. Overall excellent machine, very good value for money and delicious coffee in only a few minutes - what's not to like. I use Tesco Finest Non Decaf Original N'espresso Pods and was able to buy a box of 10 L'or Decaf Pods in Tesco for less than Tesco's own Finest Brand. Also the used Pod Reservoir/Storage box where the pods get ejected to after use is big enough that I only need to empty it once a week. All in all very little to complain about Highly Recommended great coffee machine for the money l. Review: Super value for money - I bought this coffee maker for myself after staying in an Air B&B which had a small Nespresso machine. I’m so glad I did my research and read reviews as my wife and I found the Nespresso coffee maker made coffee that was warm and not hot. As the price of Phillips was only £60.00 for the red one it was a no brainer as we couldn’t find one close to the price. I can’t tell you enough how happy I am with this machine. Well built, sturdy and where you insert the capsules has been well engineered to last, so much better than the Nespresso. It came with Lor capsules which I haven’t used yet as we bought capsules from Lidls which are a lot cheaper and taste great. The machine is very easy to use and comes with easy to follow instructions visual instructions. The coffee comes out piping hot and it’s quiet too. It’s slim enough to fit easily in our small kitchen and I love the fact that the water reservoir can be fully removed to fill. It takes both large and standard original capsules with as I mentioned are freely available in supermarkets and online. It is definitely a machine that I feel is super valve for money and I would be still happy if I paid double the cost of the unit 😊👍 ## Features - Double Shot Capsule: Designed to work with the exclusive L'OR Barista double shot capsules and L'OR Espresso single shot capsules for extra power - 1 or 2 cups: Allows you to brew two cups of espresso or one double espresso in a single cup thanks to the exclusive L'OR Barista double shot capsules. Enjoy ristretto for two or double espresso just for you. - True espresso quality: L'OR Barista System brews coffee at high pressure, up to 19 bar, to ensure true espresso quality. - Volume personalization: Easily adjust the coffee length of your beverage to your taste preference and enjoy your perfect cup of coffee. - Coffee tasting box: Every appliance comes with a variety assortment of capsules: 4 L'OR Espresso single shot and 5 L'OR Barista double shot capsules. Looking at it from the front the width is just under 16cms. **Q: What is the tallest mug that will comfortably fit without removing the drip tray?** A: It’s 8.5cm. However, you can put a larger mug there just by leaning it a bit :) **Q: Why is the lid stuck** A: The lid is not stuck!! It only opens to 45 degrees to enable the insertion of pod's. Do not force. **Q: Can you use reusable nespresso pods?** A: I’ve never used re-usable pods in this machine ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value N'espresso Machine makes Great Coffee *by S***K on 17 August 2025* Very easy to set up and easy to use.
