I’ve read reviews about “how much of a mess it makes” and how it “hurts peoples gums,” but none of that was true for me. If you are careful, it does not cause that much of a mess. If you brush your teeth like a maniac then sure, it’ll be messy. As for sensitivity, I’ve used it a few times, and haven’t really noticed any. But I definitely wouldn’t use it every single day. I typically brush with the charcoal and then follow up with regular toothpaste because the black particles sometimes get stuck between my teeth here and there.
