Or does it come in a brown bottle called Major? Need to know the inactive ingredients also.** A: It comes in a white bottle. For some reason there is a difference. I don't know the inactive ingredients as I am out of this. I've been using a Senna made by Major and it is not as effective as it is more watery. Inactive ingredients are, cocoa flavor, natural chocolate flavor. methylparaben, propylparaben, proplene glycol, purified glycol, sucrose. I have use the Senokot for many years as I have a very severe son with disabilities who has a chronic bowel problem. That is why the white bottle works better as it is more syrupy. **Q: This senna is made by Senokot, which is what I ordered and pictured. Received bottle made by SDA? Different bottle and way different results?** A: They don't make this senna syrup anymore. You will get another brand that is watered down. You have to use more of it to work. Used with our daughter who also had severe encopresis and fecal retention. Miralax was horrible for us (explosive, uncontrollable etc. at the large dosages she needed to see any improvement). The only downside which I didn't see anyone post on yet is that it's (sadly) only supposed to be a short-term solution. All of the pediatric specialists have emphasized that stimulating laxatives (which Senna is a kind of) become habit forming when taken for a long period of time.
